Cornelius Boersch founded his first company during his studies, has developed it into the smart card broker and RFID-producer ACG AG and successfully floated it on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 1999.
Subsequently, Conny Boersch initiated the development of further RFID-based companies, such as Smartrac (IPO’d in 2006), Identiv (NASDAQ-listed since 2006) and recently the cashless payment systems providers Sandpiper Digital Payments. With the founding of MP, Conny dedicated himself to the development of internet and technology companies. Conny is the “European Business Angel of the Year 2009” and currently one of the most active and well-recognized Business Angels in Europe, whose investments are co-financed by the European Investment Fund.
He studied at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Duisburg in Essen.

Asad was a principal partner in entrepreneurial ventures in Malaysia (solar and renewable energy) and Hollywood (media and entertainment), and has extensive networks spanning HK/China, Malaysia/SE Asia, India/S. Asia, Germany/Europe, and California/N. America.
Love is the General Partner of Mountain Lion with 20 plus years global investment banking & asset management experience, He has lived and worked extensively in most international financial jurisdictions ie. UAE, UK, Malaysia, Singapore and held regulated positions with leadership roles. He also served as founding director and investment committee member for one of the largest India investment equity funds, which at its peak invested more than a Billion US$ into Indian listed space. His longest stint had been with Reliance Capital group where he spent almost a decade.

Jorge Perez spent over 13 years working for three Fortune 500 companies, building cross-functional teams to achieve maximum operational impact. In his latest role as Commercial Excellence & Execution Director Europe for Novartis, Jorge had the opportunity to work closely with some Biotech companies, which sparked his interest in helping start-ups to reach their true potential.
Jorge joined Conny & Co. in June 2019 and he focuses on selecting, structuring and negotiating investment opportunities, mainly in LATAM and Southern Europe, as well as ensuring the adequate follow-up with investors and founders.
Jorge graduated an executive programme in Venture Finance with University of Oxford, holds an Executive MBA from the University of Barcelona and has attended a number of programs in the areas of finance, coaching and marketing excellence.
Mohammad Mansoor is a career entrepreneur and has been associated with multiple successful ventures spread across waste to energy, CBD Oil, Tea processing, Global commodity trade, Electric Vehicles and food logistics amongst others
Currently he sits on the board of A2Z Infrastructure (India) Ltd. and one of the pioneers in the waste to energy sector and is one of the largest company in India deploying transmission lines solutions for various governments.
Mansoor through his other ventures has been actively engaged in global commodity trade especially between India and Middle East with a focus on primary commodities including soya based edible oils, corn, barley and rice. Over the years he has gained tremendous experience in government supplies and tendering with commodity sourcing being the major strength between him and his team.
Through his investment holding company ICP Holdings Pvt. Ltd. Mansoor has been an investor in Tea processing sector in Sri Lanka, CBD Oil, Food logistics and Electric Vehicle segments in India and Sri Lanka.
While actively managing his global interests Mansoor spends his time between India and Sri Lanka, Majority of his global operations are handled by his base in Sri Lanka through his investment holding company.
Alexander Hornung developed his passion for entrepreneurship at (the EBS) Law School when he founded his own startup. Prior to joining Mountain Partners AG in 2018, Alex gained experience in international Capital Markets Law with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) and large-scale cross border investing at Silk Road Finance Corporation (Hong Kong, S.A.R.) and Chinastone (Beijing, China).
Alexander co-founded Conny & Co. in 2019 and is focusing on investments mainly in the United States of America and Greater China as well as on the internationalization of portfolio companies into these markets through strategic partnerships.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Arts in Business for Legal Professionals from European Business School (Oestrich-Winkel, Germany) as well as a Master in Management and Economics (China Studies) from the Yenching Academy of Peking University (Beijing, China).
Philip Behrends co-founded Conny & Co. in early 2019 and focuses on investment management, investment structuring, portfolio management and legal responsibilities. He first joined Mountain Partners in 2013, initially working in International Business Development with a focus on South East Asia. Since 2015, he oversees and manages all investment projects initiated by Dr. Cornelius Boersch and is involved in international fundraising efforts.
Philip has further been involved in the founding and structuring of several fund projects and investment vehicles as well as the setup of the Japan joint venture. Philip holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK.
Mafahir graduated with a 1st Class BSc. Honors in Computer Science from Buckinghamshire New University, and has 11 years’ experience in Machine Learning, Computation, Mathematics, Optimization Problem solving, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security and Cryptography.
Viraj is a User Experience Designer specializing in complex digital solutions, particularly in the Fin-tech and Edu-tech verticals. He has expertise in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Writing & Visual Communication.
Peeyush has a Masters Physics from IIT Kanpur and is the Co-Founder of Vecmocon Technologies, which is an award-winning start up on electric mobility. He has expertise in vehicle intelligence modules, LI Battery tech, Battery management systems and Cloud Architecture solutions.
Overall experience exceeding 25 years in the Financial Industry, which includes 20 years in the Commercial Banking Sector having worked for two leading private banks in Sri Lanka covering key areas like… General Banking/Corporate and Retail Lending/Credit Risk/Special Asset Management & Recoveries while specializing in Risk, Compliance and Security Documentation for the last 11 years.
Sonesh hails from a family that has been deeply involved with and accomplished in the film and entertainment industry. The Sira family has collectively been involved for over 50 years in Film, with notable titles like Gandhi, Octopussy, Spies Like Us, Arabian Adventure and over a hundred more to their credits. Sonesh evolved from acting to producing full-time, culminating in a partnership with Percept Picture Company, working from both its Mumbai offices as well as his own in Soho Square, London for many years. producing films and commercials such as Truck of Dreams and Mother Teresa featuring Penelope Cruz. Sonesh also produced and arranged many major live events such as the Hope Gala, Sangeet Awards and the Indian Film Festival.
